Old Railway Cottage Guest Comments Rating: 5/5 "Our stay at old railway cottage was excellent. There was plenty of room and the open fire was so cosy and warm. The sounds of the cows was great, the little baby chickens coming through the back fench and watching the moon rise in the back yard topped our stay off. We stayed in tasmania for eight nights and Old railway cottage was the best place we stayed. Old railway cottage would suit any one whether it was a couple or a family it catered for everyone." Kylie, SOUTH AUSTRALIA Rating: 5/5 "A beautiful quiet, homely place to stay. Made us wish we could move in, permanently. Perfect!" Leanne, VICTORIA Rating: 5/5 "There was nothing lacking in this charming getaway. The family enjoyed a relaxing break in the quiet surrounds of the home-away-from-home that was provided by the Old Railway Cottage!" Natalie, TAS Rating: 4/5 "The cottage was situated in a very quiet part of the village so we were able to have a good rest. The cottage was very well equipped with everything that we needed for our stay (kettle, toaster, microwave, TV etc). It would have been nice to stay a little bit longer! " Jen, NSW Rating: 4/5 "A very comfortable stay - we all felt very welcome and 'at home'!" DENISE, TAS Rating: 5/5 "Very comfortable and charming cottage, with plenty of space and different areas in the garden for the dog to explore. Owners were exceptionally hospitable, while respecting our privacy. Highly recommended." Richard, NSW Rating: 4/5 "Great value. Clean and tidy. Lovely peaceful setting. The owners were great with dogs" Kelly, TAS Where We Stayed For our Tassie trip we settled on The Old Railway Cottage in North Motton near Ulverstone in NW Tassie, which is run by Barbara who is a very gracious host. Our Cottage (Old Railway Cottage) was about 25 minutes from Devonport and was all ready for us. Very comfortable with a good sized yard and nice covered outside area to sit at or even eat “al fresco” in the well fenced back yard. Inside three bedrooms and all the amenities and a Wood fire in the lounge- lots of wood and kindling and firelighters provided. All in all very pleasant By James Thom We have had a wonderful stay in the cottage and really enjoyed our time in this part of Tasmania We will definitely recommend this to anyone we know coming this way. Nigel enjoyed playing with the fire.A lovely cosy home for our week Gillian, Nigel and Liam |
